Random Observations

                                  Coming About

Yesterday I brought a great Schooner about,
Hanked in the lines, thrust nose through wind
Reminded me a bit of life..
Lots of sharp turns through turbulent seas

                                 Space Madness

I hang on the edge of a star
            Earth twirling madly beneath
How could such a lazy-looking eyeball
            Have gone so completely insane?

                    Birth-Day

  Forget about throwing parties
for punch drooling five year olds,
  fondling cake-smeared photos
  forty years later, claiming remembrance.
  Celebrate now.
  Blow candles or whatever.
Eat, drink, but don't make Mary
  (unless menopausal)
  and then, for god's sake,
  don't take pictures.
