Uninvited Guest

She claims she's got Jesus
inside her belly, squats
on the street corner, raves
about how he'll bring Salvation
to sinners this Christmas day.

A teenager cries Jesus
while dad pumps fresh sperm
into her unwilling virginal womb.

Red, on white sheets.
Poinsettias on cold sidewalks.

Jesus stands on the sidelines,
a guest at parties he never planned.
