Fly Away

When I strolled by yesterday's seas,
I thought of you by my side.
As I lathered my hair in the shower
I remembered our frequent laughter.
Washing last night's dishes
I recalled your hands on my waist.
Setting my pillow  to air
your sighs passed my mind.
But when the butterfly kissed my powder puff tree,
then flew far away
I thought of you once,
then thought of you, no more.
